This course will provide delegates with the information required to complete an 8D Problem Solving Process for the automotive customers. During the programme delegates will learn the 8D process and practise the steps on case study examples.

Identify and Verify Root Cause
- Root cause problem solving
- Additional techniques: tally charts, Pareto analysis, histograms, scatter diagrams, brainstorming techniques

Choosing and Verifying Permanent Corrective Action
- Review of idea generation techniques
- Analogy techniques, functional analysis, lateral thinking

Plan and Implement the PCA
- Techniques for successful implementation

Prevent Recurrence
- Capturing lessons learnt
