YELLOW BELTS |
Yellow Belts are skilled Six Sigma team members who may in exceptional circumstances run improvement projects.

GREEN BELTS |
Green Belts are part-time Six Sigma practitioners: trained to run small-scale projects using the DMAIC problem solving approach. Green Belts also have a key role to support Black Belts: gathering data and contributing actively to Black Belt projects.
Green Belts tend to operate within their specific function (unlike Black Belts who can work cross-company) and represent a vital element of the corporate deployment of Six Sigma techniques.

BLACK BELTS |
Black Belts are team leaders responsible for implementing process improvement projects within the business. Black Belts are usually full-time improvement specialists for the company, who combine technical depth with leadership qualities. A Smallpeice Black Belt is a self-contained change agent who, in addition to delivering major Six Sigma projects, act as key drivers for organisational and process improvement – providing both facilitation and mentoring to others.
